Monitor usage

The usage dashboard shows how your workspace uses Dash: how many conversations, how many messages, how many tokens, and what it costs. Use it to spot trends, identify heavy users, and make sure you’re getting value from the tools you’ve connected.

What’s tracked

• Sessions — each conversation thread counts as a session, whether in Slack, Teams, the web, or the Chrome extension.
• Messages — the total number of messages exchanged (your messages in, Dash’s responses out).
• Tokens — the input and output tokens consumed by the AI model. This is the primary cost driver.
• Cost — what the workspace has spent this billing period, broken down by run type.

Dash can break usage down week by week so you can spot adoption trends, and rank team members by activity. Per-member credit figures are visible to admins only.

From the web dashboard:

Go to app.dashpup.ai and open the Usage page. You’ll see:

• Current period spend vs. your monthly limit.
• Session and message counts for the last 7 days and all time.
• A breakdown of which run types consumed what (interactive chat, scheduled tasks, etc.).

What counts as billable

Non-billable runs are tracked for Dash’s internal visibility but never appear on your invoice or count toward your spend limit.

Review a specific session

On the Sessions page in the web dashboard, you can open any past conversation to see what Dash did: the messages exchanged, which tools were called, what was produced, and how many tokens it consumed.
